SORDI, a historic company from Lodi that celebrated the 140th anniversary of its foundation in 2021, is specialized in design, construction and installation of machines and systems for the food industry. The SORDI production range mainly covers the dairy sector (plants for the heat treatment of milk, for the production of yoghurt, puddings and creams, lines for the production of cheese), but also the sector of fruit and fruit juices and nectars, tomato, eggs, wine and the confectionery sector.
Sugar is one of the main raw materials in juice and beverage industry. Dissolution of granular sugar into syrup is one of the steps required for the preparation of juices. For the continuous dissolution of sugar a compact enbloc unit, fit on a self-supporting frame, is proposed.
Continuous dissolution is fully-automatic. The dissolver can dissolve, in hot or in cold, variable quantities of sugar with concentration values up to 80°BX. Dissolving unit is controlled by PLC and HMI operator system, where all the signals of normal operation can be controlled (authorizations, recordings and flow controls, temperature and °Brix) in addition to other possible alarm signals.
The value of the syrup concentration is constantly monitored by a refractometer.
The unit is completed with a set of filtration systems.
