Milk Pasteurization

SORDI, a historic company from Lodi that celebrated the 140th anniversary of its foundation in 2021, is specialized in design, construction and installation of machines and systems for the food industry. The SORDI production range mainly covers the dairy sector (plants for the heat treatment of milk, for the production of yoghurt, puddings and creams, lines for the production of cheese), but also the sector of fruit and fruit juices and nectars, tomato, eggs, wine and the confectionery sector.

Milk Pasteurization

Milk Pasteurization: thermal processing lines for food products with plate and/or tubular heat exchangers 

HTST, ESL and UHT lines

Sordi designs and manufactures thermal processing plants for milk pasteurization.

The milk pasteurization plant lines are available in different types of systems: HTST pasteurizing lines, super pasteurizing lines, UHT sterilizing lines. The lines are pre-assembled on platform and may be automatic or semi automatic.
The control systems for milk pasteurization plants are equipped with PLC Siemens with supervision HMI (Human Machine Interface). The heat exchangers can be plate type (standard or free-flow plates) or tubular (corrugated pipes). 

The line for milk pasterization plant is skid-mounted and it is composed of:

  • Balance tank
  • Sanitary centrifugal pump with filtre
  • Plate, or tubular, heat exchanger with high thermal recovery
  • Tubular holding
  • Hot water preparing set
  • Flow diversion valve
  • Control panel system

It is also possible to include in-line the degaser, the homogenizer, the separator or other machines necessary for specific processings, which will be regulated and controlled by the same control panel.
This milk pasteurization plants may process plain or flavoured milk, creams, ice-cream mix, fruit juices and generally all types of food fluid drinks.
